On the Edge of the Forest (E. F. Schumacher) - $55
Filmed in the unique Karri and Jarrah forests of Western Australia in 1977. All about the economic mismanagement of our forests. Consider all their values, now and for the future. Draw the distinction between what are capital and what are renewable resources. E. F. Schumacher, leading economist and author of Small is Beautiful, at his most thoughtful,

Wheat Today, What Tomorrow? (David Bellamy) - $55
David Bellamy takes us on an eye opening tour of broad acre farmlands where not everything is as golden as the ripening crop. Wind erosion, dry land salinity, non-wetting soils, sheet and gully erosion, compaction. How much longer can we sustain wheat production from the world's degrading soils without the thoughtful use of trees? An ideal video for the classroom, entertaining, gripping. We know one student who became a soil scientist after seeing this.

Good Enough to Eat - $38.50
Organic farming in California seen through the eyes of a group of visiting farmers from Australia. Growing everything from lettuce to rice, almonds to carrots, dates, cotton, herbs, plums and cattle these organic farmers look confidently to the future. Demand for organic food constantly outstrips supply. And Australia is moving the same way.

Bellamy's Big Bang Theory (David Bellamy) - $55
Rock dust, a waste product from the quarrying industry, could be just the source of minerals we need to replenish the soils of our farms. Bellamy explains the theory. Men of the Trees have proved it works well for raising tree seedlings, and Austrian Georg Abermann describes the pasture improvement process. The results speak for themselves.

The Flourishing - $38.50
Cameron and Moira Thomson of Scotland have long advocated the use of quarry rock dust and compost for building gardens to provide a rich harvest. Just see their highland glen paradise. Cabbages fit for kings. Every imaginable variety of potato. Flowers blooming in glorious array. And Moira's hair, the best statement of their healthy success!

St Barbe of The Trees (Richard St Barbe Baker) - $38.50
A forever living portrait of this wonderful forester who founded Men of the Trees in Kenya in 1922. Filmed in his ninetieth year St Barbe reveals the mystery and relevance of the trees with poetry, good science, and practical knowhow. He draws on a lifetime of experience and speaks with a voice that will forever haunt our memory.
